馬英九總統率團出訪的「久揚之旅」，在多明尼加時間12日下午(台北時間13日凌晨)抵達多明尼加，進行國是訪問。當地媒體十分重視總統到訪，英語家教網包括多明尼加日報、立思鼎日報、加勒比海日報、日報、新日報和自由日報等，都對馬總統抵達多明尼加，進行報導。
